Customer Service Representative II

Office Opportunities
Job Function/Requirements: 
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Insure customer satisfaction with timely, efficient and accurate service
  • Provide administrative assistance
Essential Job Duties: 
  • Responsible for entry of diagnostic submissions
  • Responsible for answering the telephone in a timely and efficient manner
  • Responsible for assisting external customers with various requests
  • Insure records and documents for diagnostic results, autogenous order and government forms are properly filled out and maintained
  • Insure accuracy of customer data in system
  • Inbound call to communicate diagnostic results to solicit product orders
  • Inbound calls to communicate inventory status to solicit product orders
  • Inbound calls regarding pending price increase, promotion start and end dates
  • Awareness of up-to-date information regarding pricing, special offerings, buying plan promotions and pricing programs
  • Inform customers of price breaks/discounts in an attempt to up sell
  • Assist in servicing and establishing new customer accounts
  • Assist in a variety of clerical assignments as required
Nature and Scope: 
  • The incumbent reports to Inside Sales & Marketing Manager
  • First line of customer contact
  • The incumbent interacts with a variety of departments within the company, as well as, outside vendors and contract personnel
  • Must understand and work with regulatory guidelines established by USDA
  • He/she acts within the guidelines established by Company policy and delegated authority
  • Accountable for complying with the Company Handbook and all policies set by the Company
  • • Accountable for complying with the BIAH/Merial/Newport Business Code of Ethics to the highest standard
Requirements: 
  • The position requires a high school diploma or GED and/or minimum of five years related experience
  • The position requires good verbal and written skills
  • The position requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Familiar with computer systems and software including, but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
