Job Function/Requirements: 
  • This position provides a high level of customer service
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with timely, efficient, and accurate service
  • Ensures compliance with applicable state and USDA biological regulations
Essential Job Duties: 
  • Responsible for assisting both external and internal customers with various regulatory related requests
  • Ensures records, documents, and government forms are properly filled out and maintained
  • Assists in a variety of clerical assignments as required
Nature and Scope: 
  • The incumbent reports to the Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs
  • The incumbent interacts with numerous co-workers as well as customers
  • Adheres to USDA and state regulatory guidelines as they apply to biologicals
  • Acts within the guidelines established by company policy and delegated authority
  • Accountable for complying with the Company handbook and all policies set by the Company
  • Accountable for complying with the BIAH/Merial/Newport Business Code of Ethics to the highest standards
  • Two (2) year post high school degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of USDA and state regulations as they apply to biologicals
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to work with others
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel programs
