Maintaining the health of your animals is central to the success of any livestock operation. Newport Laboratories works to ensure that veterinarians and livestock producers are equipped with the preventive, diagnostic, and educational tools necessary to ensure peak performance. The livestock industry changes quickly, and these changes often bring unique disease challenges.

By genetically selecting specific viral and bacterial strains, our team can create vaccines specifically targeted to the issues facing your animals. The world of animal health continues to evolve, and you will find Newport on the leading edge.
Staying on top of disease prevention and overall heard health issues is no small feat. Newport Laboratories puts you on a winning team in this battle. Our Mission
Newport Laboratories provides the service of assisting our customers in their effort to address animal health problems through diagnostic testing and production of veterinary biologics.
With cutting edge molecular diagnostic technology, we assist in identifying disease pathogens. Our novel manufacturing technologies are used to produce quality (autogenous) biologics, offering veterinarians and producers alternative methods to address the prevention of animal diseases.
The technical veterinary services team at Newport Labs includes experienced professionals that provide assistance to veterinary practitioners and consultants as well as livestock producers. This is complemented by the personal attention featured by our trained customer service.
Our History
In 1997 Newport Laboratories received its USDA facility license.
With dedicated, focused employees, quality products, and an emphasis on personalized customer service, Newport Laboratories has continued to grow and expand, providing swine and bovine biological for customers across the country.
In 2004, the company had grown and moved its corporate and sales offices to their current location at a prominent red building located just off of Interstate 90 on the north edge of Worthington, MN. The campus-like setting includes 30 acres for potential expansion.
Two years later, a new Research, Development, and Diagnostics Center opened, adjacent to the main building. This 7,000-square foot facility houses laboratories and offices for our Diagnostics, Molecular Diagnostics, and Research & Development divisions. At the same time, our Quality Control department moved into its own dedicated facility in Worthington.
Newport’s Production center is a state-of-the-art USDA-licensed facility. It underwent a major renovation and expansion, adding a multi-million dollar viral suite and significantly increasing total production volume.
